FEEDING SCHEME-SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER 2019

Donation-To LBC-Sep & Oct 19 Lorna Booi+Buntu Ngaukana     Donation-To CofN-Sep+Oct 19

The ECID handed out the following food items to the Church of the Nazarene in Bonteheuwel and the Langa Baptist Church; 4 x 750g coffee, 2 x 850g peanut butter, 2 x 900g jam, 36 cans each of pilchards and baked beans, 10 kg of lentils, 10 kg dry soup mix, 20 kg samp, 6 800 tea bags, 12 cans mixed vegetables, 20 kg rice and 36 x 1.5l cooldrinks kindly donated by Giant Hyper and 100 kg gravity beans donated by Pioneer Foods. Accepting on behalf of Langa Baptist Church is Lorna Booi & Buntu Ngaukana  (top left) and for the Church of the Nazarene is Reverend Quinton Williams & Jermaine Williams (top right).

We were once again able to make a generous donation to Church of the Nazarene in Bonteheuwel and Langa Baptist Church. 2 x 750 g coffee, 1200 tea bags, 2 x 850g peanut butter, 2 x 900g jam, 10 kg dry lentils, 10 kg dry soup mix, 20 kg samp and 24 cans each of pilchards, baked beans all donated by Giant Hyper. 50 kg beans donated by Pioneer Foods.

Accepting on behalf of the Church of the Nazarene is Reverend Quinton Williams & Sheldon Josias  (top left) and on behalf of Langa Baptist Church is Lorna Booi & Buntu Ngaukana (top right).

The following food items were handed out to our two-deserving charity organisations;

1 x 750 g coffee, 1200 tea bags, 2 x 950g of peanut butter and 2 x 850g jam, 10 kg each of dry soup mix and lentils, 20 kg Samp, 24 cans each of pilchards and baked beans all donated by Giant Hyper. 2 x 50 kg gravity beans donated by Pioneer Foods. Rev. Quinton Williams from Church of the Nazarene in Bonteheuwel accepted the food donations (top left), Buntu Ngcukana accepted the food donations on behalf of the Langa Baptist Church.

The ECID handed over 8 x 750 g coffee, 3600 tea bags, 8 x 850g of peanut butter and 8 x 950g jam, 40 kg dry soup mix, 40 kg lentils, 60 kg Samp, and 96 cans each of pilchards and baked beans, 2 kg rice and 4 x 2l cooldrinks all donated by Giant Hyper and 50 kg beans donated by Pioneer Foods to Buntu Ngcukomo, Lorna Booi & Zukile Bacela from the Langa Baptist Church and Reverend Quinton Williams & Ricardo October from Church of the Nazarene in Bonteheuwel.

Giant Hyper and 1-Up Cash & Carry very kindly donated the following items to the security and cleaning teams in a show of appreciation;

30 x 400g Ricoffy, 84 cans each of Mixed Vegetable, Baked Beans and Pilchards, 40 kg Rice, 40 kg Samp,  60 x 2l Jive Cooldrinks and 6000 Tea Bags all donated by 1-Up.

1000 Tea Bag, 24 cans each of Baked Beans, Curried Mixed Vegetables & Pilchards, 40 Kg Rice, 12 Kg Ricoffy, 1 tube Pringles, 50 x 16g Tikka Crisps, 100 x 20g Niknaks, 72 x 17g Smarties mini, 72 x 21g Bar One Mini, 72 x 21g Lunchbar Mini, 72 x 40g Kit Kat Chunky, 60 x 150g Lemon Creams and 24 x 1,5l Coca Cola and 36 x 1,5l Fanta & Sprite Assorted all donated by Giant Hyper.
