Greening | Urban Beautification

With community interventions designed to increase property investment, amplify job creation and encourage new consumers into the Epping Industria area, one of our focuses is urban beautification through greening. The Epping City Improvement District continues to beautify the area in an effort to create an attractive and inviting urban environment for the entire community and those visiting the area.  Projects include pop-up parks and maintenance of public green areas, such as cutting grass, installing pot plants and planting trees.

Cleaning | Urban maintenance

We provide our municipal top-up services by combining our partnership resources with a rate levied from property within the ECID. Our urban cleaning and management efforts are a priority across our City Improvement District, and include activities such as graffiti and illegal poster removal, servicing public litter bins and clearing illegal dumping sites. Thanks to the tireless work of our team, our streets and public spaces remain clean and well maintained. Improved waste management, rapid response to urban defects, and efficient service delivery have all contributed to creating a thriving industrial environment.

Recycling Project

The Geocentric recycling project has been initiated in Epping! This project includes separating recyclable litter from non-recyclable litter. We are thereby preventing recyclable items from ending up in landfills.

Going forward, Geocentric’s long-term plan is to introduce even more green bins to the area to combat litter, and service these bins to separate recyclable and non-recyclable litter as part of their Environmental Upliftment and Sustainability Programme for Epping.
